GoToTerminal is an ActiveX-based technology that allows to control any Microsoft Windows Terminal Server, Remote Desktop, Telnet and VNC Server from anywhere in the world, directly from Internet Explorer. Both the client part (i.e. the Control Panel View Screenshot) and the server part (i.e. the Gateway Application View Screenshot) do not require any change in your firewall or HTTP proxy server configuration. You do not have to open or change ports or deploy any hardware to make GoToTerminal work. The GoToTerminal service was designed to provide maximum security and performance to its users.

The Control Panel is accessible through SSL login at www.GoToTerminal.com and allows to securely access and control your servers and computers:

STATE OF THE ART SECURITY	2-Way 256-bit AES CFB encryption in addition to Terminal Services encryption. Access passwords (which contribute to generate unique AES keys each time) never seen or stored by GoToTerminal servers. 4096-bit Diffie-Hellman key exchange for every connection established. SHA256 Challenge/Response verification of Access Codes, with unique client and server nonces used each time. Key Strengthening with thousand of iterations on every user password specified (for both website and gateway passwords). Website access allowed only through SSL/HTTPS. Gateway One-Time Access Codes protect your servers also when accessing the Control Panel from unsecure computers. Every Gateway message exchanged with the server is signed with at least one secret key, a counter and two nonce values (one from the client and one from the server). Mutual authentication on every Gateway message sent and received. 3-Level nested passwords (in addition to Terminal Services and VNC Server authentication). Three-strikes rule for website passwords with account suspension for 5 minutes. Different secrets and several random numbers contribute to generate unique AES keys each time. Any user password (both website and gateway passwords) must meet complexity requirements before being accepted by the system. Gateway configuration data (connections list, passwords, server names and ip addresses) only stored on the Gateway computer registry in an encrypted format, never seen, modifiable or writable from the outside.
TUNNELING TECHNOLOGY	GoToTerminal only works via outgoing TCP connections (no port has to be open). Optimized HTTP GET/HTTP POST tunneling. HTTP Proxy server/Firewall friendly protocol. GoToTerminal supports Socks4/4A/5, Http Connect, Http GET/POST Tunneling with Basic/Clear, Digest, NTLM/Negotiate authentication. GoToTerminal technology, unlike the other products on the market, is able to work also behind HTTP Proxy Servers.
ADVANCED FEATURES	Advanced File Transfer feature for Terminal Services based on Virtual Channels, with resuming and bandwidth control. Remote computer Wake-On-Lan control. Integrated PING facility to monitor the remote computers' power state. Support for multiple sub-users and simple to use "invitation" feature through email messages. IP-Based access report feature.
